Sharing - JX’s favourite puzzles

After JX graduated from the 1 piece peg puzzle, I bought him 3 to 6-piece card box puzzles.  I bought these 4-in-a box puzzles from Jusco,  ~RM8 after 10% discount.

I found that JX shows great interest in playing with card board puzzles. So, to add to his collections, I bought him another 2 sets puzzles which are  -

Cars - 5 puzzles in a box + 1 domino. There are 5 cars puzzles graded from 6 to 18 pieces and comes with 1 car's domino! I bought it during Bonus Link day at Parkson with 20% discount (I have forgotten the price).

12 pieces Thomas & Friends puzzles from Jusco at RM3.60 after 10% discount.

Recently JX is playing with the 18-piece Car's puzzle, I am thinking to get him 24 or 30-piece Thomas & Friends puzzles, but I couldn't find it. Please leave me a message if you know where to get it. Thanks ^_^

I also bought a box of card board puzzles for CY during popular book fair, it's around 6-8 pieces per puzzle. I bought this because i saw him already mastered the 1-piece puzzle and also the 3D type plastic shapes puzzle.
But so far he is not interested with the puzzles. I noticed that he seems to find this kind if puzzle difficult to put together....maybe it is not suitable for his age yet...infact, my father also find that these puzzles is not easy because the colour of the puzzles are almost the same, for example, an apple, it consists of 4-5 red coloured puzzles (not including the stalk and leaf piece) and i think CY has difficulties to put together....
I will go hunt for lesser piece puzzles like the ones you show. :)

Dear Elli,

The 4-in-a box puzzles which I bought from Jusco comes with 3,4,5,6-piece puzzles. What I did was I first picked the most easy 3-piece puzzle, took a photo and showed it to JX (I didn't develop the photo, I showed it on the computer screen) while he's solving the puzzles. I found out that this method could attract him while at the same time, he could visualize the whole picture in his brain, knowing what's the end result, hence this could assist him solve the puzzle.

As he's progressing to more pieces puzzle, he now get used to the habit of always refers back to the photo printed on the box whenever he's stuck.

Hope this can help. ^_^
