今天，我和立凯很休闲的到不同特色的家俱店逛逛，我们的目标是要买厨柜。逛了几家，发现到家俱店的价格都很有弹性，同一款的餐桌，价格可以相差一千块，店员还很诚恳的说他已经“去到最尽了”真不知是他想骗我还是他被厂商骗，应该是前者吧！
逛到下午，我们来到一家新开的家俱店，此店的正式开张日是明天但今天已开始大促销。店里的家俱时髦又美观，最重要的是价钱真的很合理，有些还很便宜呢！我们在这家店看到之前差一点在别家店买下的厨柜，价钱便宜了整四百块，于是决定买下。在付帐的时候，店员告诉我们新店开张的首三天，顾客凡买过一千块，可抽奖一次，叫我们等一下，会有“抽奖天使”带我们去抽奖。哦？竟然还有抽奖？
可爱的抽奖天使向我们介绍：“大奖是二十九寸电视机喔，接下来是二十一寸电视机当然还有许多的安慰奖，如烘面包机，可爱小灯，枕头等等，总之，一定会有奖品的啦！”过后她要我在满是红包的透明箱子里抽出一个红包。坦白讲，我看到的是一大箱枕头。我伸手进去，很快的拿出表面的一封红包交给抽奖天使，她讶异的说 “你都不选啊，刚才的顾客很用力的摇箱子呢！”我笑笑，其实我是很感谢这间店让顾客增加购物乐趣。我小声的要立凯帮领枕头，因为我要再去看家俱一下。我转身，走了几步，抽奖天使和立凯突然叫住我，抽奖天使快步走向我，表情不可思议的让我看我抽出的红包，里边的纸写着二十九寸电视机。连我自己也吓了一跳，我竟然抽中他们店里的大奖！过后，抽奖天使很兴奋的向店员和顾客大声公告这消息。一时间，很多目光都看向我，店员们则手忙脚乱的找相机。抽奖天使很开心的对我说，之前的顾客抽到的几乎是枕头，她现在有证据可以告诉顾客说是真的有电视机的。也许店员们一心以为，大奖只是摆美，结果临时找不到相机，他们邀我们明天中午再来出席他们正式开张日的自助餐。我们婉拒了，第一，我们是真的约了朋友， 第二，我们是一心一意来买家俱，买到送电视机，真的是喜吓参半。
离开店之前，店员在我们的厨柜单加上additional delivery item - 二十九寸电视机，下星期三送货，好期待喔！

My Wedding Anniversary
4 years back on the same day,we got married, so today is our 4th wedding anniversary.
On 21st of May 2008, in the afternoon, I received a phone call from Lip Kai telling me that we are going for Japanese Buffet tonight. I said "OK!" but I was actually wondering why Lip Kai suddenly has such a big interest to go for a heavy dinner on a normal weekday. In the evening, when he reached home, he asked me if I want to dress up for tonight's dinner. I was tired and blurred, I answered “No need, as long as we are comfortable".
After both of us got into the car, Lip Kai suddenly handed over something in a plastic bag to me which he has hidden at the backseat of the car. I was so surprised to see 2 small bouquets of roses, a present and a card in the plastic bag. He said" I will be on call tomorrow so let's celebrate a day earlier, I hope you like the present, Happy Anniversary!". I was speechless and shocked as I have totally forgotten about our anniversary. And….the roses…I have been longing for these bouquets of roses every time I passed by Lovely Lace shop, and...he remembers it. I am touched deep inside my heart. Next, I opened and read the card, the words are so touching. :'(
We headed towards Sunway Pyramid for our Japanese Buffet dinner. It was an enjoyable meal with a wide range of Japanese dishes served, hehe, my favorite was teriyaki Unagi, so delicious! “Tomorrow must go and jog for 1 hour” I told myself before taking my dessert: cheese cake, Tiramisu, ice-cream, fruit in hot chocolate dip..... \(^_^)/ Yeah!
On the way back home, I couldn’t resist long but to unwrap the present, it is an earring hanger from Lovely Lace, I love the present! Then suddenly I realized that I didn’t get Lip Kai anything, I felt so bad….Lip Kai smiled and said “Your support and confidence in me is the greatest gift.” I choose to believe what he said is sincerely from his heart rather than just to comfort me.

半日游
两个星期前，我接到一通电话，对方是我一名来自美国的朋友，目前因为工作关系所以relocation 在槟城。
他说“ Hi, BK, I just call to let you know I am in KL now”
KL Now? 我呆了一下，回过神后就自告奋勇约他隔天半日游，
当然我当导游！
这是事发突然的半日游，所以当天我直接问他有想去的地方吗？
他说”Putrajaya, my friend told me I must go and see”
真想不到布城还真出名，好，出发！
四十分钟后，当路上街灯设计也变得较特别时，我告诉他我们已开始驶入布城。一栋栋气势澎勃的建筑物入眼时，我不亦乐乎的向他介绍“Putrajaya is the new Administrative Center of the Government, most of the Federal Government ministries, departments and agencies are situated here. See, this is the office of the Prime Minister called‘Perdana Putra’, that is ‘Kastam’.. ” 说着说着，他终于开口说第一句“Didn’t anyone complain about this ? This is a waste of people’s money. In US, government agencies are just a normal building except The White House. If this happens in US, there will sure be noises of complain from the people” 。
我想不到布城给他第一个印象是负面的，我一直都认为布城是马来西亚一个特色，但话说回来，大多数马来西亚人民好像并没有太反对 (还是反对不来？) 。我本身是属于那大多数，我真心回答 “ Putrajaya is also one of the famous tourist spot in Malaysia” 至少，我一直都这么认为的。他礼貌的笑笑，不再说什么。唉！在bolehland长大的我真的是从来没思考过这个问题.
来到布城当然会顺道去 Cyberjaya, 我又开始介绍“ This is the Multimedia Super Corridor or also known as MSC Malaysia, A number of companies who qualify for MSC incentives have relocated their operations here, see this is Motorola,Dell, that beautiful building is Sony Ericson..” 一路上，放眼望过去，小猫两三只，我自圆 其说“Normal day the road must be very busy，hmm…today is a bit empty, probably is Saturday afternoon, no one is working.. ” 我怎么了，死硬要让对方对马来西亚留下好印象.
游了Cyberjaya，我无意中提起 Mid valley, 他说“ What is Mid Valley, I frequently heard it from some Malaysia’s friends ” 我答 “It is a famous shopping mall, let’s go”. 星期日嘛，Mid Valley 当然是 people mountain people sea (人山人海) ，但他很喜欢 The Garden 的设计，还和那些真树假树拍照呢，但就是对购物没兴趣，他说“ This Mall is too big, I am a bit confused and lost, I rather go to a more straight forward shop, grab and go”. 我答 “ Big? No, this Mall is not the biggest,want to go 1U?” 当然是开玩笑啦！
他是 cake lover, 所以我就带他去 The Garden 的 Alexis 品尝蛋糕。Alexis 是一名好友介绍的，里边卖的蛋糕真的是不错 。曾在纽约住十多年的他告诉我说Secret Recipe 的蛋糕真的非常好吃，cheese cake 可以媲美 New York 的 Cheese Cake. 真的吗？我听了真开心因为我听说 New York 的 Cheese Cake 真的很好吃！
离开MidValley时，已是下午四时半，是时候载他回酒店。天下着倾盆大雨，雨有多大，车龙就有多长。于是，我们又继续闲聊。他告诉我说上个月，他独自一人去了Langkawi一日游。下了船，只是在码头叫了一辆德士，对方带他去一个非旅游景点的沙滩, 很少人，但沙滩很美，洁白和宁静。可能马来西亚人民给他的印象是善良及亲切，但我还是要讲 “ You must be very careful in Malaysia, the safety is getting worst” 我不是要吓他的。
塞了将近一小时，终于要到他的酒店了，他突然说 “I realize there are quite a lot of tolls, I see you kept paying toll even it is only a short distance.. wow!” 我答 “There is no freeway in Malaysia, all highways” 。
就这样，结束了半日游，很开心的一天 ^.^

T.G.I Friday's - Sunway Pyramid
I’ve become a supporter of Tony Roma’s ever since this American franchised restaurant chain comes into town. Anyway, yesterday when I happened to be in Sunway Pyramid for CNY shopping, I have dropped in at the newly open TGI Friday’s located at the new wing of the Pyramid as it has been ages since I last entered this restaurant (which is the one in Queensbay Mall). But, I am extremely shocked & upset by my experience there.
It was around 4.20pm when I entered the restaurant for an early dinner. I have been directed towards a table located just beside a small working desk where remnants of newly squeezed lemons being left on, filling the air with strong “fragrance” of lemons. In view of this, the waitress directed me to another table upon my request.
While I was waiting for my order, a door which was less than 1 meter from me was opened by a staff. To my surprise, it was an entrance of a store room and the staffs began to move out boxes of goods from the room……Meanwhile, my order was served. And I could see that they were still busying with their goods right in front of me. I became uncomfortable as it was apparently dusty. Thus, I requested for a change of table. However, to my surprise, I was offered the first table just now. For obvious reason that I’ve mentioned earlier, I pointed towards some non-occupied tables across and asked if I could sit at one of those table . But I was denied for any of those with the reason given by the waitress as I was alone, and only these two SINGLE-seated tables were available for me, according to their house rules.
I tried to persuade the waitress by saying that things could be more flexible as it was 4.30pm in a half empty restaurant. She responded that she required the approval from her supervisor. To my disappointment, the response given by her supervisor was also a “NO”, as they must abide to their house rules strictly. I was really upset and has no intention to continue my meal there. Hence, I requested to ‘ta pao’ with an angry face, in purpose to see how they handle it. The waitress again stressed that they have to abide to their rules and apologized before taking my dish away to pack up. ??? - looks like my angry face didn't work at all
When I was leaving the restaurant, I noticed that the supervisor was rather ignorant about the situation and watching me leaving with an indifferent facies.
I have the intention to lodge a complaint to the authorized party, however, I forgot to take down their names. I am really disappointed by the attitude and the service provided by the staffs. I believe if I happened to be in a kopitiam for a noodles of RM3, I wouldn’t have been as upset as this, after paying more than RM 30 for a spaghetti plus the so-called service taxes, I don’t think I will ever visit TGI again.

一个不愉快的经历
11月16日2007年，我买了早上十一点半的巴士准备回槟城参加晴莉及津津的结婚晚宴 & 注册。我准时到达车站，手上紧紧握住行李袋及抱住手提被包，车站好多人但幸好巴士也及时到达。我排着队徐徐的准备上巴士，此时有两外劳拿着两张不像巴士车票的纸张，寻问着前方的工作人员，结果队伍就停了下来，大家都望向前方看着这两名外劳，当然也包过我。终于，外劳走了而我也成功上了巴士。在座位坐下后，我马上发现到巴士外面有名友族一直盯着我，我记得他刚才也是跟着大伙排队的怎么现在却不上巴士。就在此时我发现到我用右手抱着的背包已经被打开了，足足有一只手的阔度。我心知不妙因为我很肯定上巴士之前我还留意自己的包包，怕不法之徒枪，检查之下，发现到手机不见了但幸好钱包还在。抱着最后的希望，我赶快叫巴士乘客帮忙打我的电话及寻找但是电话就像已消失在空气中。此时，我又发现那名可疑人物还是一直盯着我，我在巴士上用很怀疑的眼神瞪他，他心虚的假装看地上。我知道自己是肯定遇上扒手了 (而且心里怀疑就是他) ，所以赶快连络电话公司 block line (我是用 postpaid 的) 。在巴士走之前，我发现那名可疑人物开始打量下一班车的乘客，但愿不要有人像我这般粗心吧！
