We woke up at 830am on the next day, 3 of us were freshly recharged ( JX slept for 12.5 hours while we slept for 11 hours),what a luxury! After a relaxing breakfast, we checked out from the hotel and headed straight to Legoland!!

“I feel so itchy with this new shirt.”
It’s a normal schooling day, the park was quite empty and there’re no queue at the ticketing counter. As we entered the park, the first thing we did was to find a shelter so that we could browse through the Legoland’s map & guide.

“While daddy and mummy are busy looking at the map, I am attracted to these shoes. I like the brick design on the shoes.”
It’s almost 12 noon, we decided to first visit ‘The BIG shop’ which was located next to the entrance to avoid the blazing sun (we forgot to apply sun-block).

“Mummy got me changed to another shirt in the shop, no more itchiness! We spent quite some time in the shop, 3 of us really enjoyed looking at all the different sets of Lego & Lego merchandise sold in the shop.“
The “Big Shop” was selling a wide range of Lego selections which I’ve never seen in KL. We spent almost an hour in the shop (without buying anything
) and finally decided to leave the shop and take the “Legoland Express”.

“The weather’s so hot and mummy told me that the Lego company must be taking the opportunity to run some “Acceleration-Life-Tests” on their legos in Legoland Malaysia. Hhm…. I don’t understand a single word mummy is saying, mummy…. can you please snap a photo IMMEDIATELY, I really can’t stand the heat!”

“All on board! I call this Knapford Station and I am hoping to see Thomas or James here. Anyway, I still love this colourful Legoland Express and we boarded the train twice.”

“I wave to some of the passers-by whom I see while traveling in the train. I see a lot of miniatures during the train ride and I wish to go after that but mummy said she has no mood to admire the beauty of the structure under 1pm hot sun. She said she will bring me there maybe 4 hours later.…
.”
The second thing that caught our attention was this –The Junior Driving School (for 3-5 years)

No queue at all!

“Ready, set and….”
“But the reality is…….I don’t know how to drive the car.”
“Luckily, I got a ‘driver’ to help me go for one round!”

“Not bad, I earn a ‘kopi lesen’ after the drive.”
After the Driving school, we decided to visit another shop –’The Brick Shop’ to avoid the sizzling hot sun.

I like this shop very much. I especially love the “Pick-A-Brick” section where you can pick some customized bricks to add to your sets. The price was RM35 per 100gm, I think it’s quite pricey but luckily I only needed to add some flowers, leaves and chairs to my set. So, the weight of my “add ons” still considered light compared to buying other Lego bricks. Besides, I was very excited to find 2 Lego sets which I’ve been looking for since 2 years ago –The Lego Doors & Windows set, 6117 and The LEGO Roof Tiles set, 6119, were sold in this shop. The happier part was these 2 sets are not imported and distributed by ALJ Malaysia (Every Lego set brought in by ALJ distributor will have the ALJ sticker on the Lego box). ALJ is Malaysia’s Lego distributor who is responsible for the high Lego prices in Malaysia (in another word, they dictate the Lego prices in Malaysia). Most of the Lego sets sold in Legoland Malaysia were still under ALJ but luckily there were still some exceptional ones. Anyway, if you are a Legoland Malaysia’s annual pass holder, you are entitled for an extra 20% discount on all the items purchased.
I knew that The Lego Doors & Windows set, 6117 is sold at ~USD20 (~RM60) and The LEGO Roof Tiles set, 6119 at around USD27 (~ RM86) in Amazon US website. So, I was happy to get them both at RM49.9 each.

While I was busy counting every single piece of leave or flower I scooped from the “pick-a-brick’ section, JX was happily playing at the “Build-A-Minifig station”. As the name suggested, you can customize your very own minifig by choosing the heads, torsos, legs and some accessories available there, RM25 for 3 minifigs. Little one spent almost 40 minutes playing at the station and finally we decided to get home 3 minifigs.

“I build the sailor and the policeman, mummy builds the other one.”
Nice “twin towers” structure spotted in the shop…

We had our lunch at “The Cafe” which was situated beside The Brick Shop.

“Daddy bought me some pastries and a cup of rainbow ice-cream for my lunch. Daddy and Mummy are half-full after a heavy buffet breakfast in the hotel this morning so they shared a lasagne. We like this cafe as the air-con is cold and it’s not crowded. A nice place to take a rest!”
After lunch, we decided to take a walk around Legoland. Anyway, JX insisted to leave Legoland and suggested to come back again next time…. Hhmm…I did notice that little one had finished 1 litre of water in the last three hours and I also knew that the scorching sun was not very welcoming but MUMMY REALLY WISH TO CONTINUE TO STAY AND PLAY HERE, sorry!

“ I want to go home, I want to go home!”
The “I want to go home” remedy presented by JX at the Legoland’s front door lasted for 15 minutes and finally he was distracted by me to a ‘ life-size painter’ near the edge of the water.

Aquazone Wave Racers Ride

“I am not interested to take this ride. My clothes were wet by splashes of water as I was just standing beside the pool. Mummy ask me not to worry as my clothes will soon being naturally ‘sun-dried’.”

Lego Mindstorms & Lego Academy – we didn’t enter both, will visit again next time.

“I am attracted to these 2 ‘brick robots’ placed at the opposite of the Lego Mindstorms . From time to time, I could hear these two robots communicate with me in a funny voice. I am wondering why and I am very interested to know them more.”.

We really loved the brick sculptures which were littered all around the park, masterpiece!
The Dragon Kingdom

“Daddy & Mummy are not fans of roller-coaster so they both didn’t bother to take any rides in Legoland including this- ‘The Dragon Ride’. Mummy is more interested in window shopping at the gift shop next to this castle.”

I am fascinated to see all the different types of Lego sets in this gift shop.
